What began in the 1990s as an ironic pop project among friends in Tübingen evolved over the decades into a cross-generational cult phenomenon: Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band. In the summer of 2024, the film follows the eight-piece band on their major open-air tour across Germany—in front of thousands of fans with sunflowers, glitter, and fake chest hair toupees.
