Das Treppenhausorchester
Das Treppenhausorchester erobert das KörberHaus: Mit musikalischen Streifzügen durch Foyer und Etagen entsteht ein gemeinsames Klanggeschehen. Anschließend reagiert ein Streichquartett im Notfallkonzert auf kleine und große Alltagsnöte des Publikums – persönlich, überraschend und berührend. Nachdem Mitglieder des Treppenhausorchesters musikalisch durch das Foyer und die Etagen des KörberHauses gezogen ist, lädt ein Streichquartett in den KörberSaal zu „Deinem Notfallkonzert“ ein, in dem das Streichquartett auf kleine und große Alltagsnotlagen der Gäste reagiert: Sie können Ihre persönlichen Notfälle einbringen, die dann musikalisch begleitet werden – oder einfach Teil eines berührenden Konzerterlebnisses sein. Das Treppenhausorchester versteht sich als künstlerisches Labor für einen erweiterten Konzertbegriff. Mit spielerischem Forschungstrieb untersucht das vielfach ausgezeichnete Ensemble die Grenzen des Live-Konzerts, öffnet neue Hörerlebnisse und verbindet klassische Musik mit Performance, Raum und Lebenswirklichkeit. Das rund 20-köpfige Orchester arbeitet regelmäßig interdisziplinär mit Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus Regie, Film, Schauspiel und Komposition und entwickelt innovative Konzertformate wie KULT, DARK ROOM, DARK RIDE, INNER JOURNEY oder NOTFALLKONZERTE. Es ist an renommierten Häusern und Festivals in Deutschland und Europa präsent, u.a. der Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, der Kölner Philharmonie, der Alten Oper Frankfurt und des Beethovenfests Bonn. Die Veranstaltung ist der Auftakt mehrerer Konzerte im KörberHaus.
